The Box House Hotel (Adults Only) - New York

The staff is really friendly. We were well informed about public transport and other practical information. The location is fairly quiet. From here, it's easy to go to WallStreet whith the water way. You pass under the three famous bridge in New York. Great! The view of Manhatan is beautiful.

We stayed for 4 nights and loved the room, which was upscale due to where the heating unit was located.

There was something as milk missing.

It was just a reliable pick for exploring town in New York with real value for money. The ribs at the bar were delicious, made our first night special. Make sure to venture out. Brooklyn's got great places to eat.

The rooms were exactly as pictures, beautiful and very clean. Excellent price for all you get. Very close to public transportation, service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely stay here again!

The only minor complaint I have is that the hallway was loud and we could hear people's footsteps inside our room. Other than that, extremely quiet and overall wonderful.

The location was great in the safe area. The airport was 15 km away. Comforts of spotless and beautifully designed superior queen room with a view were fabulous.

perfectly located at the northern tip of Brooklyn with easy access to south Queens and within 15 mins (walk + subway) to Manhattan. Greenpoint has lots to offer if you're the adventurous type and I would suggest Box House Hotel provide a full listing of all cafes, bars, music venues, clothing stores within its reach. The main Manhattan Street is lively and interesting enough but the side and minor parallel streets contain gems as shiny as Bedford Avenue offerings. You have to meet the staff to realise that this is not a generic hotel. They are personable, will go out of their way to assist and treat you as a real guest nit as a customer. I would prefer if recyclable items can be disposed of separately from the normal trash. I'm sure it gets sorted out later but from a personal point of view, I would prefer if I can actively and consciously throw them away in separate bins. It would have made me feel better.

We have booked superior queen room with balcony, spacious seating area for evenings and 2 single beds for 5 nights. Also, location was comfy and peaceful, within walking distance of Volume.

staff , location Near to Manhatten Avenue , many bars and restaurants , and a short drive to Williamsburg. For Manhatten , cross the bridge (10 min walk) and take train 7 to Grand central station or Times Square .

Stylish Getaway for a Nice Celebration

I celebrated my 40th birthday here with an early check-in surprise and a complimentary bottle of wine. The neighborhood feels cozy and less crowded, while the rooms are comfortable and include nice fans. Be prepared for intermittent shuttle service, but don't miss the fantastic Ovenly sweets nearby!

We just loved the hotel, its staff and the location, near Williamsborough (10 min. By walk). The staff is very gentle, nice and willing to serve you in anything you need. They have a free cab for the area (Greenpoint). We had no problems during all stay. The hotel is always clean and the inside smells very well. They even clean your dishes while your on city tour. The location, Greenpoint, is well communicated by subway with Manhattan and Brooklyn. Williamsborough is to us the beautiest place in NYC, just a walk of ten minutes from the hotel. Down Manhattan Avenue it goes on with Bedford Ave., the hippest and nicest place in town. In brief, a 'must go to' for tourists who need a comfortable, well communicated, but cool and in a quiet, calmed and safe neighbourhood. Thanks to the Box House Hotel staff

It was a memorable stay on a vacation. All the staff were absolutely amazing and fantastic. My superior queen room was equipped with a work desk, a coffee/tea maker and TV. Close to an underground station, the location was great and cool, close to the subway to Manhattan.

Spacious suite with modern kitchen was perfect for us and our two dogs. Loved the complimentary bottled water and coffee, made mornings easier. It's a cozy place near parks and playgrounds, and just a short walk to subway and shops.

My wife says that soundproofing could be improved. We could hear noise from the corridor.
